Occult

This piece was made of an ethically fallen deer, in which I took the skull, clean it, and then burned it in a fire for 8 hrs. Scrubbed and bleached the top side of the skull while leaving the char on the base. Then added imagery of A. Crowley, churches, priests, snakes and verbage to the cranial region. The antlers were stained in a chocolate leather stain, and the basin of the antlers was wrapped in a bronze threading. Finished in a matte varnish to seal it all together.
